Vaping dry cannabis is thought  to be one of the safer ways to consume legal cannabis.  This is because the plant's material is not altered and there is no direct combustion.

There’s two ways of vaporizing cannabis. One is from the dried herb. You take the weed and you put it in a little chamber and it heats it up. So there’d still be some harm but a lot less harm than smoking. But the other thing that people do is they vape cannabis oil. And cannabis oil typically has far greater concentrations of THC. So it’s a much more potent product.

Cannabis Bud Vaping VS Vape Concentate

Many consumers feel that the flavour of cannabis is best experienced by using a dry herb vaporizer. In any case dry herb vaporizers will always offer a way to consume plant material directly without combustion.

On the other hand are the cannabis oil pens.  There has been cases reported of people suffering serious lung conditions after using them. Currently they are not legal and there has been some serious concerns about their safety.

These products are slated to become legal, but more information is needed.  Dr. Theresa Tam, notes that legalizing vape oil pens could have some positive outcomes from a health standpoint because what's in the products will become known. Some bad ingredients from the currently unregulated vape oil grey market may be causing health problems. Lets wait and see!
